Job Description
A very talented, dedicated and intelligent person who can help us meet the challenge of developing internal applications to support our web development and business strategy. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in PHP, HTML and CSS with a working knowledge of JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming, MySql and XML.
The candidate will assist in various stages of the web portal development process, from site mock ups and coding to optimization and ongoing Quality Assurance.
The Responsibilities:
Develop web-based applications to support the portal
Research on new trends within the web development process
Liaise with the web development team and the entire CN team
Provide support for new and existing web applications
Develop web-based applications using our development process
The Requirements:
Knowledge of web development best practices (sample of work will be required)
Two years work experience (at least)
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML
Knowledge of at least one scripting language, preferably PHP as well as knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
Understanding of the Symfony Framework and Doctrine ORM will be a plus
Fluent in English
Excellent attention to details
