JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidates will be between 26-34 years of age and possess a good university degree or its equivalent in Social Science, Humanities or the Sciences, plus a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in an FMCG company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The success candidates will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, growing our sales volume and providing an efficient sales service to our customers. They will also:
  • providing market data and information and in order to ensure that we can respond appropriately to developments in the marketplace.
  • ensure the achievement of set targets and other related objectives
  • identify factors that facilitates purchase decisions and proactively turn them into an advantage for the company.
  • identify and develop customers with high volume capacity
  • provide after sales support to customers

Principal Accountability:
  • Execute the marketing activities in the outlets located within the territory in order to meet customer and consumer objectives as described in the cycle plan.
  • Train customers if necessary using required materials and instructions.
  • Negotiate retail touch points based on communication strategy following guidelines set by TM&D communications Manager.
  • Develop and adhere to a well-defined work programme and route plan as agreed with Area Manager.
  • Actively participate in business development projects e.g. internal brand awareness campaigns.
  • Support change management projects within marketing Team.
  • Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume, margin, quality and customer price of products are achieved for territory.
  • Monitor brand’s performance in the outlets (BAT’s and competitors’).
  • Engage local government officials, transport/ traffic agencies and other stakeholders to avoid disruption of BAT operations in the territory.
  • Provide information on retail environment to TM&D Communications Manager to develop touch points appropriate for these outlets.
  • Support DSS representatives to achieve high performance by establishing a constructive feedback process
  • Develop an effective working relationship with the outlets by giving assistance and support through regular communication and the prompt handling of problem and requests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidates will have a minimum of 6 years milling experience and should, ideally, not be more than 38 years old. Candidates should possess a good University degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture or the Physical/Biological sciences. Full membership of the City & Guilds in Milling Technology, or a Milling Diploma of the Swiss Milling School will be added advantage.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Applicants must have a disciplined but flexible approach to work and, possess an ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. The responsibilities of this position include managing a production shift, ensuring low down-time in milling operations, consistent production of good quality products, supervision of mill maintenance and ensuring that a clean work environment is maintained at all times.
