The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering projects for the company starting with a fit for purpose Liquids Treatment Facility. As a key function within the Operations team, the job holder will work closely with other functional leads as well as other group managers.
The jobs in Nigeria is based in Lagos but will require frequent visits to the field base location(s} in the Niger Delta and contractor offices. Specifically the candidates will among others:
• Develop project budget and schedule in accordance with company’s Contractual Requirements.
• Develop and maintain project execution plan

RESPONSIBILITIES

PIPELINE ENGINEERS (PE/SP/006)
Successful candidates will be responsible for managing the technical integrity of considerable length of pipelines, This will involve:
• Providing maintenance and inspection plans to assure the technical integrity of the pipelines within defined scope and budget, focused on realising asset specific HSE, integrity, costs and availability performance.
• Developing and implementing best practice inspection, monitoring and emergency response systems.
• Advising on matters of specification, design, selection, procurement, application and maintenance and identifying/recognizing potential hazards in own discipline and proposing/implementing solutions to eliminate/minimize risks.
• Supervising pipeline engineering activities in the field when being executed by third parties, when required.
• Managing engineering modifications to the pipeline system.
REQUIREMENTS:

CONTEXT/SCOPE:
It is recognized that there is an increasing threat posed by counterfeit activity (and illicit alcohol) to the growth ambitions of our brands in Africa, and urgent action is required. The focus of the role will be to ensure that we understand the issue and mitigate it.
Brand Assurance Manager will have responsibility to run the total Anti-Counterfeit (AC) programme and deliver what has been agreed.
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The role of AC unit is to protect both our consumers and brands by identifying those involved in the production, movement and sale of counterfeit Diageo products, both beer and spirits, and in bringing such operations to an end with the closure of production sites/ arrest of illegal operators.
DIMENSIONS:

The Brand Assurance Manager oversees an operation that must secure the integrity of millions of Sterling worth of stock and protect/recover GN assets and fiscal property against the risk of fraud, faking and misappropriation.
MARKET COMPLEXITY
Key task is to assess, investigate and reduce counterfeiting incidence. Illicit and counterfeit trade participants are engaged in a multi-million sterling industry, which is by its very nature complex, secret and highly profitable. There are many challenges in the identification of those involved in the manufacture, shipping, distribution, sale etc. of unauthorised products, determining proof of involvement with suitable evidence, and ensuring effective legal action is taken.
The unauthorised trade in well-known brands is a cause of increasing concern for manufacturers (e.g. pharmaceutical, sportswear, and automotive parts).This presents a challenge in securing focus from the relevant authorities. Industry allegiances are therefore necessary.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Close contact with the Head of Security and Corporate Relations Director.
Close interface with heads of departments in Guinness Nigeria  especially in Quality.
Close contact with the Security, Finance, Sales, Procurement, Corporate Relations and the Customer Services Teams.
Close contact with local Enforcement authorities, Brand Protection, Standards and other government agencies.
AC Heads of other international and large local companies within the country.
Close contact with senior Management of AC units cross-border.
TOP 3-5 ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Engage the AC’s leadership team and take responsibility for delivery of market AC mitigation plan
Conduct/manage investigations into suspected counterfeiting incidences and liaise with relevant law enforcement agencies where appropriate
Identify suitable operational opportunities for further financial investigation including civil action procedures and exploitation of Intellectual Property laws.
Manage and direct intelligence programmes and investigations ensuring that targets are rigorously profiled and subsequent intelligence is exploitable within the appropriate local legal framework
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Be a mature individual, with a minimum of 5 years experience in security or anti-counterfeiting management.
Must have at least a 1st degree. A law enforcement background is desirable.
An in-depth understanding of the issues surrounding counterfeiting
Possess good communication skills in English, which he is able to exercise at all levels.
Possess commercial & analytical skills.
Understands the nature of Human Intelligence gathering techniques.
Ability to deal credibly, and professionally, with Diageo Managers, government officials, lawyers and outside investigators.

Job description
The Reward analyst will be totally responsible for the company wide reward management system as well as relationships with external colleagues, maintain reward communication strategy and make recommendations to management on improvements or modifications. He or She will be responsible for aligning reward levels to match with economic situations and the Nigerian labour market.
He/She will report to the Reward Manager West Africa Area, and manage relationship with HR managers, Line Managers and Functional Heads within the region.

Responsibilities
■Analyze survey data as well as information collected from individual organizations, highlighting trends and issues for consideration.
Prepare remuneration intelligence reports and draft recommendations for consideration by the BCC.
■Present recommendations on remuneration and benefits issues to the BCC for review and approval.
■Maintain balance sheet information for incoming and outgoing expatriates.
■Maintain on-assignment remuneration for assignees out according to annual increases, bi-annual COL updates and policy changes, as well as on-assignment terms and conditions for incoming expatriates in conformity with established practices.
■Ensure that IA packages and payroll instructions are properly implemented and executed in line with policy.
■Oversee the effective delivery of remuneration and reward across the company, especially salary increase management and incentive schemes.
■Manage the full Job Evaluation process through the use of the JE Manager technology and ensure internal equity and consistency across functions.
■Implement and sustain non monetary recognition arrangements which will create and embed a culture of spontaneous recognition
■Implement and maintain a reward communication strategy that enhances transparency and keeps employees informed.
■Develop and enhance reward training modules for line and HR managers to increase their reward management competence.
■Respond to all queries around expatriate remuneration and benefits.
■Develop, maintain and implement a reward induction module for new hires.
■Establish and maintain effective and productive relationships, especially with external colleagues in the HR discipline and FMCG sector.
■Source appropriate and quality remuneration and benefits data
■Lead and execute area and regional reward projects as assigned by the Area Reward Manager and Regional Reward Forum
■Experience working with market data, salary survey providers, R&B and HR managers of competitor companies.

Qualifications et experience
■5 years minimum experience in Human Resources in a multinational organization with knowledge of HRM practices & principles
■2 – 3 years of specialized experience in R&B function in an FMCG environment is preferable.
■Ability to design and manage pay & benefits systems
■Conceptual understanding of market survey techniques; ability to conduct and interpret compensation surveys;
■Ability to work with numerical & graphical data; understanding of statistics.
■Excellent working knowledge of JE Manager and HAY evaluation method and understanding of other alternative approaches to job evaluation.
■Good knowledge of the Nigeria Labor market, particularly FMCG sector;
■Strong analytical skills.
■Ability to work with extremely confidential & sensitive data.
■Good interpersonal and communication skills.
■Strong influencing skills; ability to influence employees & management at all levels including Top Team and Regional management.
■Good Resource management & Project Management skills.
■Good computer skills (esp. Excel)
